PM Modi has implemented Lockdown 2 till May 3 to stop the spread of Corona. So that somehow the virus can be prevented from spreading. But the business has stalled due to the lockdown. In such a situation, the automobile companies of the country have come forward to help in this difficult time at their own level. Meanwhile, Maruti Suzuki joint venture Krishna Maruti has handed over 2 lakh units of triple ply face mask to Gurugram administration.

Kundu was presented by ED and CEO Ram Natarajan on behalf of Krishna Group Chairman Ashok Kapur in the presence of executive board member Rajiv Gandhi of Maruti Suzuki. Maruti Suzuki was requested in late March 2020 on behalf of Haryana and the central government to build a large-scale mask in its production infrastructure to help fight the Coronavius.

A large number of materials, production processes and technology are used in the production of the car. Taking this trust and without knowing the product testing guidelines, Chairman RC Bhargava committed to preparing and making a triple ply face mask in a phone call with JV partner Ashok Kapoor. The masks were passed to the SITRA laboratory by the Government of India after the hard work of Maruti Suzuki and Krishna Group engineers with support from Maruti Suzuki's management and textile department. The plant set-up was mass-produced several days before the mask was handed over.
