Maruti Suzuki India launched the much-awaited fourth-generation Dzire sedan on Monday, continuing to strengthen its position in the competitive compact sedan market.
The new Dzire comes with significant upgrades in design, safety features, technology, and powertrain, offering a perfect combination of comfort, style, and safety for Indian consumers.
Pre-booking for the model had already begun last week with a booking fee of Rs 11,000, and it has now been launched at an introductory price of approximately Rs 6.79 lakh (ex-showroom).
A key highlight of the launch is the Dzire's impressive safety ratings, achieving a 5-star rating for adult occupant protection and a 4-star rating for child occupant safety in the Global NCAP crash tests. This makes the Dzire Maruti's first model to achieve these remarkable safety ratings.
Competing against rivals like the Honda Amaze, Hyundai Aura, and Tata Tigor, the new Dzire is set to raise the competition by offering more advanced safety features and a refined driving experience.
