India's leading automobile compnay Maruti Suzuki on Wednesday launches the new Generation WagonR hatchback today (January 23) in India. The base model of the car is priced at Rs 4.19 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi).

WagonR hatchback’s production has already started and the deliveries will start from February second week. The car is revamped completely.

Talking about the features of new WagonR, with two engine options, the new WagonR will join the Swift and Baleno line-up. There are total seven variants of the new WagonR -LXi 1.0L, VXi 1.0L, VXi AGS 1.0L, VXi 1.2L, VXi AGS 1.2L, ZXi 1.2L and ZXi AGS 1.2L. The car also spots a completely new infotainment system first-of-its-type in Maruti cars. The car still has a digital speedometer.The gear-lever is high-mounted. It also has the signature tall boy design.

Talkicng about changes, The front end of the car has been completely changed with chrome bar split grille, large headlamps and fog lamps. Car’s bonnet is slightly raised compared to the previous model. The new WagonR has also a windshield wiper in the rear. The brand has given a muscular look to the new-generation WagonR, which makes it stronger than the side The automaker has also upgraded equipment levels in a major way, introducing a new safety kit.
