The world's leading automobile manufacturer Maruti Suzuki is now going to resume work at its Manesar plant from May 12, 2020. The plant was closed due to a lockdown to prevent the spread of coronavirus in the country, which is now being opened after getting approval from the country's government and local administration.

Maruti Suzuki will follow all the safety rules to resume work in this plant, while cleaning and social distancing rules will be followed, as will other Maruti Suzuki plants in the country. Maruti is coming back to work to restore the status quo and Maruti Suzuki has also issued guidelines to resume work at its dealership.

According to the SOP issued by Maruti Suzuki regarding this matter, the rules of social distancing will be followed in the dealership. Employees will be asked not to do more physical contact. Customers will bring an appointment in advance within the dealership and at the time of entry, there will be screening per customer. If customers ask for a test drive, they will be provided this facility and the car will be sanitized after every test driver.
