Maruti Suzuki, India's leading automaker, has recently started booking its new premium MPV XL6 a few days ago. The company will sell the MPV through premium outlet Nexa and customers can book it for Rs 11,000 through the smartphone app and Nexa dealership. For your information, the Maruti XL6 will initially have two variants - Zeta and Alpha. The Maruti XL6 features 6 color options - Premium Silver, Magma Gray, Auburn Red, Brave Khaki (New), Arctic White and Nexa Blue. A khaki shed is a new option. In addition, only one engine will be powered by a 1.5-litre K15B petrol that will meet BS6 standards and come with a hybrid system. The engine will generate 105 PS power and 138Nm of torque. The engine will deliver a mileage of 19.01 kmpl with manual transmission and a mileage of 17.99 kmpl on an automatic transmission. Both variants come with a 4-speed automatic transmission.
According to media reports, the Maruti XL6 MPV will be a premium MPV so it will cost a little more than Ertiga. In terms of price, the company can start its estimated price of Rs 9.5 lakh, which may go up to Rs 11.50 lakh. In the Indian market, the MPV will face a direct match with Mahindra Marazzo, which comes in just a moment in diesel engines. However, next year, Mahindra will also launch the petrol version of the MPV and the automatic option.
