Maserati, an Italian luxury vehicle manufacturer, said on Wednesday that the Grecale, the company's next SUV, will be unveiled on November 16 in Milano. The company says that, like its other vehicles, the Grecale SUV got its name from the wind. The automaker has a long history of naming its vehicles after the world's most renowned winds. Mistral established the custom in 1963. Ghibli, Bora, and Khamsin were the next to arrive.

Maserati debuted its first-ever SUV, the Levante, in 2016 using the same naming approach. The forthcoming Grecale, which will be the company's second luxury SUV, is expected to play a major role in the brand and alter the everyday driving experience, according to the automaker. The next Maserati Grecale is likely to share certain styling cues with the Levante. The front grille is a big, dramatic mesh design with the trident logo in the center. Sharp LED headlights with integrated LED daytime running lights surround the grille. At both ends of the front bumper are huge air dams.

Large, aggressive-looking alloy wheels, a beautiful sloping roof, and LED taillights will all be standard on the car. The SUV's inside will undoubtedly have plush utmost comfort as well as a wide range of technologies. The automaker, on the other hand, has failed to provide any information.

The Grecame SUV will be built on the Giorgio platform, which is also used by Alfa Romeo for the Stelvio. Maserati offers a diverse selection of powertrains. Expect a powerful V6 engine to be combined with a hybrid powertrain in the forthcoming premium SUV. The car's power output is expected to be approximately 620 horsepower. However, expect the automaker to reveal more details about Grecale's design, powertrain within a few weeks.
