Massive bomb blast in Ludhiana court kills 2, injures several. Blood splatters reach roof

Ludhiana: There are reports of blasts in Ludhiana district of Punjab. According to initial information, two persons have lost their lives and some others are said to be injured in the blast in Ludhiana court. The first picture revealed shows that the court building was also damaged by the blast.

The blast was so severe that it broke to the glass of nearby buildings. Senior officials have reached the spot after receiving information about the blast. The injured have been rushed to a hospital for treatment. It is not yet clear who carried out the blast and why. It is feared that the incident may also take place. However, locals are terming it as a bomb blast and questioning the law and order situation in the state.

Tell me that the blast took place on the third floor of the court. The explosion was so severe that blood splatters of the injured reached the roof. This court belongs to a 6-storey building. According to people present at the spot, it is a bomb blast. However, the minor relief in the tragic incident is simply that the court premises were not too crowded due to the lawyers' strike, otherwise there could have been more loss of life and property.
