Dehradun: In Uttarakhand, the heat is on the extreme, due to which the fire of forests has taken a vivid form. Forests are constantly burning by fire, thereby causing huge loss to forest wealth. Recently a fire broke out in a government inter-college under Kirti Nagar, Pauri district. Three rooms of the school were burnt by the fire, the furniture of the school was burnt to ashes.

According to the reports of the forest department, a woman had set a fire in the dry grass near the school, which took the school to its grip. An employee was burnt down while fireing Almora. A person was caught in the fire in the Rudraprayag range. He has been fined 20 thousand rupees. 

Because of this, the fire spread to the forest

With this, there was a sudden fire in Kalimath and Binsar forests on Friday. On receiving the information, a team of forest department administration, and the fire department reached the spot. Forest officer Shri Bhagita Verma told that the fire has damaged forest property in large quantity. Fire Service official said that fire engines have been dispatched to extinguish the fire in the forest in both Kasaredi and Binsar. Fire is continuously spreading due to air. They said that there was a fire in Binsar forest on Thursday afternoon. Forest property was burnt in about one and a half hectare area due to the fire.
