Massive Rainfall to lash parts of Assam and Meghalaya on these days

Rainfall is creating ruckus in the northern parts of India. Heavy to very heavy rainfall is likely to befall on Saturday over isolated places of Assam and Meghalaya on Saturday and Sunday, reported a leading media daily. Additionally, heavy rainfall is expected over isolated places of Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram, Tripura, Sikkim, Bihar, Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, and coastal Karnataka. Widespread rain snow and thunderstorms are possible over Arunachal Pradesh and Sikkim. They are also likely to burst over Assam, Meghalaya, and interior Karnataka.

Met department issues heavy rain and storm alert

Moderate widespread rain and thunderstorms are expected to happen in Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram, Tripura, West Bengal, Maharashtra, Goa, Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, coastal Karnataka, Kerala, and Lakshadweep. Scattered rain and thunderstorms are likely Odisha, Bihar, east Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, Tamil Nadu, and Andaman & Nicobar Islands. Isolated rain/snow is possible over Jammu & Kashmir, Ladakh and Uttarakhand. Isolated rain can happen over Jharkhand, Haryana, Delhi, east Rajasthan, west Madhya Pradesh, and Gujarat. Dry weather is predicted over Uttar Pradesh, Himachal Pradesh, Punjab, and west Rajasthan.

Kerala records massive rainfall in the last few months

Maximum temperature of 40°C or more likely in western Rajasthan. On Sunday, heavy rainfall is likely to happen over isolated places of Assam, Meghalaya, and Andhra Pradesh. Widespread rain/snow and thunderstorms are expected over Sikkim. Fairly widespread rain/snow and thunderstorms are possible over Arunachal Pradesh. Fairly widespread rain and thunderstorms are likely over Assam, Meghalaya, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram, Tripura, Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka, and Andaman & Nicobar Islands. Scattered rain and thunderstorms are expected over West Bengal, west Madhya Pradesh, Maharashtra, Goa, Chhattisgarh, Telangana, Kerala, and Lakshadweep.
