A franchise of competitive culinary game shows in India called MasterChef India is based on the Australian program MasterChef Australia, which in turn was based on the original British MasterChef.

And In a candid conversation, the contestants discussed their journey so far, northeastern cuisines, and much more.
The January premiere of MasterChef India is hosted by Vikas Khanna, Ranveer Brar, and Garima Arora. The program recently came under fire from viewers who thought the judges were favoring a small number of applicants. Aruna Vijay, a vegetarian, was once permitted to prepare food using paneer while the other contestants had to prepare meat. Additionally, viewers criticized the judges for favoring her and praising her food while criticizing others, such as Priyanka Biswas Kundu. They also criticized the judges for portraying Kamaldeep Kaur as the "Mumma" of the competition and for playing up her sensitive side.
Two of the regional contestants, Santa Pawan Sarmah and Nayanjyoti Saikia from Assam, are competing for a spot in the finals.
A fan page of the show shared the photo of Nayanjyoti, dressed in the ‘MasterChef coat’ and holding the trophy. Other crew members are seen behind him as they wrapped up the shoot for the finale. Fans were quick to drop congratulatory comments on the post as they rejoiced in his victory. “Omgggg yessss!!! Well deserved!” “I knew it❤️,” “Congratulations #NayanJyoti. Well deserved ???? #MasterChefIndia,” and “so the most deserving one won❤️ I hope there is no cry after this here ???? boy deserves the most #MasterChefIndia,” some of the comments read.
IN The show Nayanjyoti tells about himself as Making desserts was how he began his culinary career. Since I was a young kid, I have always had a strong preference for cakes. I attempted to improve my cakes as I was making them by using fresh methods and carefully blending in various flavors. I made it using frosting and cake bases while attempting novel baking techniques. Then I progressively began making other desserts, including gelato-infused ice creams, parfaits, mousse, etc. In addition to that, I also learned how to cook delicious food. One of my fave savory foods is pasta. I improved my expert cooking abilities through self-learning techniques and references from internet cooking channels. It was very tough to find urban ingredients in Tinsukia, my hometown in Assam, which presented a significant challenge.
