Essential Materials-
1 cup green peas
250 g paneer (chopped into square pieces)
An onion sliced
2 green chillies chopped
2 to 3 cloves of garlic
1/2 inch piece of ginger chopped
2 tomatoes chopped
6 to 7 cashew nuts
1/2 tsp red chilli powder
1/4 tsp turmeric powder
1 tsp coriander powder
1/4 tsp garam masala powder
salt as per taste

Method: First of all, to make Matar Paneer, first take a cup of lukewarm water, soak cashews in it for 10 to 15 minutes. After this, put water in a vessel, add peas and half a teaspoon of salt and boil it on medium heat till the peas become soft. Now grind onion, green chilli, ginger and garlic together in a mixer and prepare a paste for gravy. Now after this, grind the soaked cashew nuts in a mixer and make a paste. Now grind tomatoes in a mixer and make its puree. Now heat oil in a pan on the gas, then add onion paste and salt prepared for gravy in the oil, stir it with a big spoon and fry it on a medium flame for 5 to 6 minutes.

With this, add tomato puree to the gravy and cook for 5 to 6 minutes. Now the oil starts separating from the gravy, then mix red chilli powder, turmeric powder, coriander powder and garam masala powder and fry for 2 minutes while stirring with a spoon. After this, now add cashew paste to the gravy and cook for 1 to 2 minutes. Now add boiled peas and half a cup of water to the pan, mix it well, cook the vegetable on a medium flame for 5 minutes. After this, add pieces of cheese to the vegetable and mix. Let it cook for another 2 to 3 minutes. Now when the vegetable is cooked well, then turn off the gas.
