Lucknow: Ahead of the Uttar Pradesh assembly elections, the debate has started regarding Shri Krishna Janmabhoomi Mathura. While the BJP is talking of developing Shri Krishna Janmabhoomi as 'cultural nationalism' if it comes to power, the Congress has also objected to the development of Krishna Janmabhoomi like Ram Mandir. Congress says that the temple is already well built, then what is the need of all this. Congress says that BJP is raising unnecessary issues because now everything has failed for them.

Let us inform that BJP had talked about making Krishna Janmabhoomi an international spot, giving the example of Kashi model. State Power Minister Shrikant Sharma told the media that BJP is working on cultural nationalism. He said, 'We waited for 500 years for Ram Mandir. Kashi Vishwanath Corridor was also completed under the leadership of PM Narendra Modi. On the lines of Kashi Vishwanath Corridor, our government is committed to develop around Braj Chaurasi Kos as well. The development of Braj as a religious and cultural center is our priority. If it doesn't happen now, when will it happen?

Questioning this commitment of BJP, Congress candidate from Mathura Pradeep Mathur has termed this whole issue as unnecessary. He said that the issues of Mathura and Vrindavan are unnecessary. First of all, we have Krishna Janmabhoomi, that too in a wide area. They want to raise the issue because everything else has failed. They think that by making this an issue they will win, but people will dismiss this issue.
