New Delhi: After hearing the Krishna Janmabhoomi dispute case in Mathura, the city of Bhagwan Shri Krishna, the Court in Mathura has reserved its verdict. The court will now pronounce its final order on May 19 on the ongoing dispute over the 13.37-acre land. The petition filed in the court has also sought to dig at the disputed site under the supervision of the court. It is claimed that if the excavation takes place, then the same prison will be found where Lord Krishna was born.

According to the report, there has been a long-standing demand for the removal of the Shahi Idgah Mosque located at the birthplace of Lord Krishna in Mathura. A petition was also filed in the court, but the court dismissed it. The petitioners in the case have sought the court to dig up the disputed site and make its inquiry report public. It may be mentioned that through this petition, ownership rights of Sri Krishna Janmabhoomi are being sought on 13.37 acres of land. It also includes Eidgah.

A petition has also been filed in the Supreme Court over the Krishna Janmabhoomi dispute, opposing the handing over of the Land of Krishna Janmabhoomi to the mosque through an agreement. It alleges that the land of Krishna Janmabhoomi Trust was handed over to the Shahi Idgah without any compromise by cheating Hindus in the case. The court has been asked to declare that the agreement entered into by the Sri Krishna Janam Seva Sansthan with the Shahi Idgah on August 12, 1968, was signed without any jurisdiction.
