Mathura: After the Shivalinga was found in the disputed Gyanvapi Mosque in Varanasi, the debate over the Sri Krishna Janmabhoomi in Mathura has now intensified. People are now raising the demand for a survey of the Janmabhoomi. The Sri Krishna Janmabhoomi dispute in Mathura came under the spotlight after the Supreme Court's verdict on the Ram temple in Ayodhya came to light. Now the court will hear the matter today on Thursday, May 19.

A petition has been filed in a Mathura court seeking ownership of 13.37 acres of land of Sri Krishna Janmabhoomi. After the Shivlinga was found at The Gyanvapi Mosque in Varanasi, the Mathura case has now begun to catch on. The demand for the removal of the Shahi Idgah Mosque located in the Sri Krishna Janmabhoomi is quite old. In 2020, the court dismissed the petition for the removal of the mosque. The court can now give its verdict in this case on May 19.

The petition filed in the court said that the Janmabhoomi complex should be excavated. The petitioner said that an inquiry report of the excavation is submitted. The petition claimed that the jail is located in the same place where the mosque has been constructed. In the same prison, Lord Krishna was born. All eyes are now on the court's decision.
