Mathura: Amidst the ruckus over the survey in the disputed Gyanvapi Mosque in Varanasi, the court has also approached the court regarding Idgah in Mathura. Now the All India Hindu Mahasabha has demanded permission to perform Jalabhishek of Laddu Gopal in the Shahi Idgah of Mathura. The petition has been filed in the court of Civil Judge Senior Division. The court has fixed July 1 for hearing.

Let us inform that earlier, fearing tampering of religious symbols in the Shahi Idgah Masjid of Mathura, the court was asked to stop the movement in it. On the petition filed on Tuesday, the Civil Judge Senior Division Court will next hear on July 1. Mahendra Pratap Singh etc. have given an application in the court that the property of the mosque in question in Mathura, like the Gyanvapi mosque of Banaras, belongs to Shri Krishna Janmabhoomi.

He has said that Hindu religious relics like lotus, Sheshnag, Om, Swastik etc. are present in it. Some of these have been erased, and some are being sought by the Respondents. If the Hindu remains were wiped out, the character of property would change. This would defeat the purpose and evidence of the suit, hence its security should be ensured. In the application filed in the court, there has been a demand for a ban on the movement of Muslims in the Shahi Idgah and security there. The court has fixed July 1 for hearing.
