Mathura, On Tuesday, at least six passengers were injured when the Mathura-Rewari passenger train heavily jerked while the engine was attached to it at a high speed at Mathura junction station.
At around 1.25 PM, 6 persons were injured in the incident. The injured passengers claimed that the engine was attached to the rake at a high speed.
Chief Medical Officer Vivek Mishra said, “25-year-old Bappi Lahari of Hathras in Uttar Pradesh, who was sitting in the luggage van, was seriously injured in the incident. He has been referred to a private hospital”.
According to ADRM Dilip Singh, an inquiry has been ordered in the matter and action against the engine driver has been recommended.
