MA&UD Minister KTR directed action against hospitals to charges extra amount

Now Telangana also came into action against hospitals for collecting extra charges from patients. Let us share that  Municipal Administration Minister KT Rama Rao directed District Collectors and local MLAs to act against hospitals that were collecting exorbitant charges from Covid patients.

For your information let us share that Actor Nikhil Siddhartha tweeted: “Alankar Hospital, Warangal, patient on the way to Hospital. They said Rs.1 lakh for first day and Rs.75,000 per day for remaining days.” The actor also shared the patient’s attendant’s details and contact number. He further tweeted”Is this fair? Requesting KTR TRS anna office to look into this.”. Responding immediately, the Minister tweeted: “We will have Warangal Collector to act on this.”

However, to be noted that A similar complaint was raised by Ranvitha Reddy from Mahabubnagar. In a tweet, she shared the images of bills including advance paid to Panchavati Hospital.
