New Delhi: Jamiat Ulema-e-Hind has said that it is wrong for the Indian government to support France's action because it ignores the sentiments of 200 million Muslims. No Muslim can tolerate even the slightest guile in the pride of its beloved Prophet Hazrat Muhammad. Maulana Syed Arshad Madni, head of Jamiat Ulema-e-Hind said that some people are proving the freedom of expression over what happened in France recently and what is happening now. They are also supporting it but can such behavior be justified in a civilized society?

Madni also said that all the religious and great people in the world should be respected, irrespective of their religion. Our prophet has taught us not to speak ill of any religion and any religious person. Muslims all over the world are following this order. A believer of any religion cannot claim that a Muslim has disrespected or mocked any religious person of his religion.

He strongly condemned the French President's printing of the offending images and its support, saying it was unbearable. Even to support such people who become the cause of unbearable pain of billions of people in freedom of expression, which is not only the cause of extreme sorrow but a kind of terror.
