Ahmedabad: Irshad Rashid, who made a video of Mahmud Ghaznavi, who stood near the Somnath temple and robbed him of being a righteous man of Islam, has been arrested. In view of the video, Vijay Singh Chowda, manager, Somnath Trust had lodged a complaint with the police. On the basis of this complaint, the police have arrested him from Panipat. The police have not officially confirmed any confirmation in the case. In the video that Irshad had made viral, he stood on the seashore and pointed to the Somnath temple, saying, "This is the temple that was conquered by Mahmud Ghaznavi and Muhammad Qasim. Qasim crossed the same ocean with his army and conquered India. It is the sea that connects Pakistan with India."
