Lucknow: The statement of Maulana Tauqir Raza Khan, chief of Ittehad-e-Millat Council (IMC), has now come to the fore amid the ongoing controversy over the disputed Gyanvapi mosque in Varanasi. In a program organized at the India Islamic Center in Delhi, Maulana Tauqir Raza said that if nothing is done on Gyanvapi, then there will also be a ban like Babri Masjid.

IMC Chief Maulana Tauqir Raza also said that this Jail Bharo Andolan will be run across the country. Going to jail is a man's job. Regarding the claims of getting Shivling in Gyanvapi, Tauqeer Raza said that some people are not able to differentiate between fountain and Shivling. These people are defaming Hinduism. Maulana Tauqir Raza said that one will have to fight for his rights. Along with appealing for the Jail Bharo movement regarding the Gyanvapi controversy, he also targeted the central government fiercely.

Maulana Tauqir Raza said that the government should run bulldozers on the Red Fort and the Taj Mahal. We will support the government in this. He said that however, we know that the government will not run bulldozers on the Red Fort and Taj Mahal. Tauqeer Raza further said that they will not get bulldozers run on Red Fort and Taj Mahal because they are trying to run bulldozers on our feelings.
