New Delhi:- Max Verstappen to get his win at the Austrian Grand Prix in the afternoon was a testament to as much dominance as he's been this season, but then Lewis Hamilton found himself in a difficult race. and Mercedes were left with nothing but frustration and almost dissonance. Following an extended celebration parade for Verstappen and Red Bull's 2023 season, orange-clad Austrian fans cheered the success. This was another masterclass in how Verstappen made the car look mundane and, unfortunately, a little uninspiring as a result.

Red Bull's excellent pace and undeniably innate touch and skill combined with the team's terrifyingly strong execution make for a perfect whole. Rose's English cricket team was pounding and fans were trying to dream of the impossible, but Austria was anything but ordinary. Rather than dreaming, this season also feels strongly about reality.

Nectar for Verstappen fans and an increasingly predictable beer for neutrals. There were no surprises and no Stokes giant rushing into the fight to defeat the Red Bull giant. In its place was the cool, confident, carefree, and unbeatable Verstappen. He overtook Charles Leclerc's Ferrari for second, while team-mate Sergio Perez moved up from 15th to third.

Red Bulls team principal Christian Horner said that It was a great weekend. I think Max had a great pace all weekend. Qualifying, sprint race, and now the Grand Prix. Instead of pitting while on top to maintain track position, Red Bull is almost at an impediment if he can get behind Ferrari again after letting Verstappen out during the virtual safety car. I thought it wouldn't work. In fact, it was almost unthinkable when Verstappen blazed through to regain the lead he had lost.

"I was just watching the replay and I think he waved as he passed Charles..." Horner pointed out with a wide smile. "Great weekend from him."

But life in the pack behind him is generally harsher. Mercedes struggled here with a new design concept that was well-received in Spain and Canada. Hamilton in particular had a hot afternoon and was battling for seventh place.

In the race, more than 1,200 drivers were penalized for exceeding track limits, so at the request of the stewards, all drivers were identified and a check was subsequently made to ensure that the penalties were applied correctly, and the results were adjusted. was done. Eight drivers committed further violations. Hamilton received frequent cautions early on, received a five-second penalty during the race, and another penalty in review, dropping him back to eighth.

Hamilton was visibly frustrated and claimed he was struggling with his performance, telling the team that he can't keep it on track, and the car won't turn. His complaints continued, with him claiming everyone else was breaking the track limit, and repeatedly updating him on who else had been penalized. In fact, the frustration emanating from his cockpit was so great that Mercedes team principal Toto Wolff moved to intervene over the radio. "Lewis, they will all get their penalties before you," he said. "keep going."

Hamilton was normally calm and calculating, much like Verstappen has been lately, but he continued to throw up in agitation, leading to an even more extraordinary situation that can only be described as a rebuke from Wolff. "We know the car is bad," he said. "Drive." An unimaginable change from the days when seven-time champions were considered the dominant force in the sport.

When the wound needed to be rubbed with salt, the Dutchman and his team didn't hesitate to toss it. With a lead of 21 seconds in the event of a death, he insisted on pitting for new tires to set the fastest lap at the risk of something going wrong at the stop. Still, the team confidently took it on and delivered it, of course. Verstappen drove both the fastest lap and the flag in his new boots.

It was a remarkable demonstration of superiority leading to points. After nine meetings, he now leads Perez in the championship with 81 points, but perhaps even more worrying for Mercedes is that he is ahead of Perez with 229 points individually and 178 as a team.

It was a great day for Max Verstappen and Red Bull Team as they got won the Grand Prix in Austria. Max got a one-man parade of all the crowd and the crew members.
