BSP chief Mayawati welcomed the decision of the Uttar Pradesh government to send buses to bring back the students trapped in Rajasthan's Kota. She also demanded that similar steps be taken for those workers who are stuck away from their homes. On Saturday, BSP supremo Mayawati tweeted that the UP government has sent a lot of buses to Kota, Rajasthan to bring back about 7,500 students. This is a good move. The BSP also appreciates this, but we are also urging the government to show such concern to the millions of poor migrant labourer families here who are still being forced to live hellish lives away from their homes.
