Lucknow: Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) supremo and former CM Mayawati has hit back at Samajwadi Party (SP) national president Akhilesh Yadav. Mayawati, while responding to Akhilesh Yadav's remarks on becoming the President, even hit out at him and even said that Akhilesh had prepared to flee abroad. Mayawati also accused Akhilesh of spreading rumours about the BSP.

Addressing a press conference in Lucknow on Thursday, Mayawati said the SP and the BJP together gave Hindu-Muslim colour to the assembly elections, due to which the BJP came to power. Mayawati further said, "The SP chief is responsible and responsible for the atrocities that are now being committed on Muslims and weaker sections. Even now, he is not shying away from spreading rumours, while he should stop the childish and disgusting politics.''

The BSP supremo said she dreams of becoming the CM and Prime Minister of UP and it is possible if the BSP voters join the party once again. She said she does not want to be the President, but the SP people are spreading this rumour so that their path is cleared. Mayawati said that even after the one-sided votes of Yadav-Muslim and the alliance of several parties, sp could not win the election. Mayawati further said, "Now Akhilesh has come to know that he cannot come to power, so he is trying to flee abroad. Where they have already made a lot of arrangements. This is also a common discussion about them in the state.''
