After the second draft of the National Citizen Register (NRC) to be recognized as the identity of citizenship in Assam, politics is growing on it. It is being defended by some government, while the opposition is adopting a completely aggressive attitude. On the issue of NRC, BSP supremo Mayawati has also surrounded the government.

While issuing the statement on Tuesday, Mayawati said that citizenship of 40 lakh people has been severed in Assam. If these people have been staying there for a long time and have not been able to submit their papers then will you remove them from the country? Not only Mayawati, but many opposition leaders have opposed the government on this issue.

Parliament also raised the issue. On Tuesday, the issue was discussed in the Rajya Sabha. SP MP Ram Gopal Yadav said during the discussion that there is such a discussion that those who have evidence have also been cut from their names list.

Yadav said that according to the Constitution, anyone has the fundamental right to live in any part of the country, whereas names of Bihar, UP, Hindus and Muslims all have been cut from the list, where will they go now? He said that in a hurry if someone's name is cut off, then where will he go if he is not a foreigner?

An inflammatory statement from BJP legislator Raja Singh came to light in Hyderabad between the sharp politics on the NRC issue. Raja Singh has said that those illegal Bangladeshi nationals who are not returning to their country should be shot.
