Lucknow: Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) supremo and former CM Mayawati has hit out at the Modi government at the Centre over the money deposited by the country's dhannaseths in Switzerland Bank. Mayawati on Friday tweeted from her official Twitter handle that "the news of Indian capitalists and dhannaseths deposited in Swiss banks reaching a record 14-year high of 3.83 billion francs is in the news" On which the people of the country, which are facing an unprecedented crisis of poverty, inflation and unemployment, etc., do not understand how to be happy?'

Let us know that the people of India have increased by 50 per cent in Swiss banks to a 14-year high of 3.83 billion Swiss francs. According to the annual data released by Switzerland's central bank, the money of Indians in Swiss banks has increased significantly as compared to before. Earlier, by the end of 2020, the money of Indians in Swiss banks was 2.55 billion Swiss francs.  

According to the annual data, the total liability of Indian customers on Swiss banks at the end of 2021 was 383.19 crore Swiss francs. Out of this, 60.20 crore francs are in the form of customers' deposits. 122.5 crore Swiss francs have been held through other banks and 30 million francs are through trusts etc.
