New Delhi: The Indian women's boxer MC Mary Kom is not taking the name of the ruckus standing on the direct selection. Olympic champion shooter Abhinav Bindra, who supported Nikhat Zarine on the issue, has been retaliated by Mary Kom. She has advised Bindra not to interfere in boxing. Bindra had supported Zarine's demand for a trial against the six-time world champion boxer, but Olympic bronze medalist Mary Kom did not like it.

Mary Kom said, 'Bindra has won the Olympic gold medal but I have also won many gold medals at the world championships. They have nothing to do with interference in boxing. I do not talk about shooting, so it would be better for him to keep quiet on boxing. He does not know the rules of boxing.' Also she said, 'He does not know anything about boxing. So it would be better to keep quiet. I don't think Abhinav too would go for trials before every shooting tournament.'

Both Bindra and Zarine are associated with JSW in different capacities. Bindra had tweeted, 'I have full respect for Mary Kom but the player has to give proof again and again in her career. Proof that we can still play like yesterday. Better than yesterday and better than tomorrow. Yesterday in the game does not matter. However, Mary Kom has clarified that she has no problem in giving the trial.
