Siddhant Chaturvedi became everyone's favourite because of his performance as MC Sher in Zoya Akhtar's Gully Boy which released this year. The actor won everyone's heart and was also cited as the national crush by his fans. People loved his equation with Ranveer Singh's character Murad in the film. Even the critics praised him and his act as MC Sher.

In the movie, MC Sher is a tough guy from outside and a total sweetheart as a person. He plays a friend to Murad aka Ranveer and also helps him believe in himself, his writings, rap skills and pushes him ahead to do his best. While he played a talented rap star in Gully Boy who could win hearts with his words, in reality too, Sid is fond of writing poems and stories.

It was an overnight success for Siddhant who also was a part of a web series called Inside Edge. After his performance in Gully Boy, a lot of filmmakers are willing to work with him. However, as reported by media, it seems that success has gone to his head. A source informed the daily that Siddhant Chaturvedi doesn't give time to meet filmmakers and take their film proposal forward.

It can't be figured out whether this is Sid's strategy or he is taking his own sweet time to say yes to a film he wants to do not. So far, the actor has not made any announcement of his next project.

Meanwhile, recently there were reports that Zoya Akhtar is planning to make a spin-off on Gully Boy which will be based on MC Sher's character. But there has been no official announcement regarding the same.
