New Delhi: Doctors and health workers in the Municipal Corporation of Delhi have stepped up the protest now. The war of words between the Delhi government and the mayor has increased a lot. Doctors have not received their salary for the past several months and because of this, they are on strike. He was recently met by North Delhi Development Council (NDMC), Mayor Jay Prakash. Doctors and health workers of Hindu Rao Hospital continued their strike due to non-payment of salaries.

Regarding this today, the Mayor said, 'This evening I will approve the release of at least 1 or 2 months salary of each of them. They should now withdraw the strike and treat the patients. Meanwhile, amidst the demonstrations by doctors over non-payment of salaries, CM Arvind Kejriwal recently said, 'The Municipal Corporation of Delhi has gone into losses due to so much corruption and miss management. During the global epidemic, doctors in municipal hospitals risked their lives for us, but they did not receive their salaries. It's embarrassing. I request the Center to give a grant to the Municipal Corporation of Delhi, so that they can pay salaries to the doctors. '

He further said that the loan given by the Delhi Government to the Municipal Corporations of Rs 3800 crore has not yet been repaid. The Center is giving grants to all the millionaire municipal corporations, the Center is giving grants to all the municipal corporations in India, except Delhi. There is gross mismanagement, corruption in the functioning of the Municipal Corporation of Delhi. The time has come to set things right. '
