MCI denies renewal of 850 MBBS seats in Andhra Pradesh

The MBBS aspirants of Andhra Pradesh are in a state of non-existence. Previously there was news about the addition of 200 seats by the MCI (Medical Council of India) which left the students delighted. According to the recent news that the MCI has refused to renew as many as 850 seats across the states. The candidates aspiring for seats from the national pool are under great pressure and confusion about the total number of seats in the state.

A big crowd of students aspire to pursue the medical course. According to reports, 49253 students appeared for the examination. There are around 4000 medical seats in the private medical colleges, while 1750 seats in the private medical colleges.

According to reports, the MCI has refused for the renewal of 150 seats of the fifth batch in Vishwa Bharati Medical College in Kurnool district, 150 seats in 4th batch of GITAM Institute of Medical Sciences& Research in Visakhapatnam, 150 to 200 seats in GSL Medical college Rajahmundry,  MCI has also refused regarding the 150 seats in Nimra medical college in Ibrahimpatnam in Krishna district and also Gayatri Vidya Parishad Medical College in Visakhapatnam.

The students are feeling deceived by the colleges.
