MCX Gold Eases After Hitting 2-Month High, stocks in mid-session

The price of gold eased after spiking more than 2 percent in the previous session, on global cues. On the Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX), gold futures of February 2021 contract were trading lower by 0.1 percent at Rs 51,370 per 10 grams On Tuesday,

Likewise, Spot Gold was down 0.2 percent to $1,938.16 per ounce after hitting $1,945.26 in the earlier session, its highest since 9 November.

Meantime, On Indian stock markets, during the mid-noon session, BSE Sensex is trading at 448,226.47 up 49.67 points or 0.10 percent.  Nifty Auto is trading at 9,353.20 down by 64.75 points or 0.69 percent. The index has touched an intraday high and low of 9,369.70 and 9,293.45 respectively today.
