MCX Gold Watch: Gold price declines Rs92, silver tumbles Rs 414

New Delhi: Considerable volatility hit in the bullion market with prices of gold and silver constantly fluctuating. Gold prices dipped RS 92 to Rs 48,424 per 10 grams in the national capital on Wednesday. In the previous trade, the precious metal had closed at Rs 48,516 per 10 grams.

Silver also went lower by RS 414 to RS 70,181 per kg, from RS 70,595 per kg in the previous trade. In the international market, gold was trading marginally higher at USD 1,893 per ounce and silver was flat at USD 27.65 per ounce.

Gold futures for August delivery remains above Rs 49,000 per 10 grams on Multi Commodity Exchange. On June 8, the August futures of gold traded in a range. Even today, gold seems to be trading in a small range only.

Gold move this week (MCX August Futures):- Monday: Rs 49143/10 grams, Tuesday: Rs 49127/10 grams and Wednesday: Rs 49150/10 grams (Trading on)
