Meerut: A shocking incident has been reported from Meerut recently. In fact, Ruby Gupta, daughter of a Jankipuram businessman who got married here, has been murdered. The killer is said to be none other than Ruby Gupta's husband Deepak Nirala. According to information received in the case, husband Nirala has confessed that he brutally stabbed Ruby to death with a pestle on August 22. Police say Deepak wanted to try the theme of the film Drishyam to save himself by killing his wife and that is why he had made all the preparations.

According to a report received in the case, Deepak cut his wife's body into two pieces with a knife after her murder. She was then packed with pieces in a sack and taken by car and thrown into the canal. After killing his wife, Deepak told his father Ram Chandra Gupta, 'His daughter died of illness.' However, Ram Chandra had complained to the DGP on suspicion. When the investigation started after his complaint in the case, everything came to light and Deepak Nirala was arrested.

According to the information received, Deepak and Ruby were at loggerheads over Rs 20 lakh and this led Deepak to hit Ruby in the head with a glass. This made her unconscious. Deepak then stabbed her several times in the head with a pestle and killed her.
