A ‘chaiwaala’ in Pune has surprised the world with minting a whopping Rs. 12 lakhs in a month selling just tea. Yewle Tea House in the city of Pune, Maharashtra has two centers across the cities. The brand became popular among the residents of the city.

The famous Yewle Tea stall was co-founded by Navnath Yewle after he contemplated at the idea seven years ago in 2011.

“Basically, in 2011, I got the idea of making tea and that I can create a big business by making tea. I saw that in Pune we have Joshi Wadewale, Rohit Wadewala but there was no famous tea brand here. There are many chai lovers here and most of them don't get the taste they desire. We studied tea for four years, finalised the quality of tea and decided to make tea into a big brand,” said Navnath on his journey.

“We have two outlets in the city which sell around 3000 to 4000 cups of tea daily. Currently, twelve workers are employed in each outlet,” added Yewle.

Further, Navnath Yewle plans to sprawl his tea business internationally and thinks it is a good form of employment. He is happy with the fast growth of his business.

“Unlike 'pakora' business. this tea selling business is also creating employment for Indians.,” said Yewle.
