The famous Social Activist Ashu Singh Ji Surpura is a role model who helped the underprivileged selflessly.

Despite showcasing the tremendous loss of lives, this pandemic also has shown the generosity of people for the underprivileged ones. One such example is of Ashu Singh Ji Surpura, who selflessly, without any expectations has helped the needy peoples by providing the daily meals. Ashu Singh Ji is from Jhotwara, Jaipur (Rajasthan) set an example of humanity, love, and care for the underprivileged.

Ashu Singh Ji’s Life

Ashu Singh Ji is a well-educated person who comes from reputed political family background. His father Shri Vijendra Singh Shekhawat was former Sarpanch of Gram Panchayat Sarai-Surpura. The strong political background helped Ashu Singh to develop the skills and assets necessary to enter politics. His grandfather, Late Shri Rohitashwa Singh Ji Shekhawat was also the famous Sarpanch of Sarai-Surpura for about 35 years.

He has done his Master’s Degree in Arts and also has completed LLB (Bachelors in Law) from a renowned university in Jaipur.

Since childhood, Ashu Singh Ji was attracted to social service activities. He has taken part in many social camps held in the city. He was always ready to help others no matter what kind of help they require. During the college days, Ashu Singh Ji developed an interest in Public Affairs and has participated in various social activities. This in return helped him to make a strong bond with the people as well as a good relationship amongst the society.

Helping Hand during Nation’s tough time

During the nation's tough time of the Covid-19 pandemic, Ashu Singh Ji has helped many families from his constituency. The ones who suffered were the underprivileged ones for whom Ashu Singh Ji did not hesitate to provide the essential help. His main motto during the pandemic was “No One Should Sleep Empty Stomach”.

He has made all the necessary arrangements required during the lockdown. The groceries, meals, food packets, and emergency items were distributed by his team to the underprivileged families. He also forwarded his Whatsapp number to the public for any kind of help or assistance. He received many messages for food items. Ashu Singh Ji without any second thought distributed the food packets at the doorsteps.

He also launched a fantastic scheme of sending Rs.500 in the account of middle-class families. He did it as well. He funded the accounts of Auto Drivers, taxi Drivers, Rickshaw Drivers, The Barbers, The Pundits, and also the Washer men who were idle during the lockdown.

Ashu Singh Ji is a great soul. He not only thought for the humans but he also supplied fodder in cowsheds. The supply of 300 ration kits to the needy was a fulfilling task for him making him happy.

The feeling of contentment is always bliss. The same is with Ashu Singh Ji Surpura, who embraced the worries of the poor’s and blessed them with happiness.
