He has been working to get traffic cleared for the last 32 years. But he has never taken money for this.
According to media reports, the name of this person is Gangaram. Every day for the last 32 years, he is seen dressed like traffic police and managing traffic at the signal. Gangaram is 72 years old. He gets traffic cleared every day from nine in the morning to ten in the night. He completes his work with great vigour. Earlier he used to work repair television sets in Seelampur.
His only son became the victim of a road incident on this Seelampur signal. He had died in the accident. After the death of his son, Gangaram's wife also died in a few days. From that day onwards, he started doing this work for the benefit of the people on the traffic signal. So that someone else's child does not become a victim of road incident. He has also been awarded many times for this work by the government. Even he did not have a mobile phone. He was also given a mobile phone by the police.
