New Delhi: Sources in Delhi Police said that a high-level meeting of top-level officers has been held at the Red Fort. According to the alert issued, anti-social elements, suspects, and people associated with the Khalistani Movement may disturb the uniform of the Delhi Police. The alert issued said that suspects associated with these organizations can hoist their flag at important government buildings in Delhi or the atmosphere can be disturbed through a tool kit. As part of the information received, the alert has asked them to keep a close watch on religious establishments so that these suspects or miscreants do not try to spoil the atmosphere by making these shrines their safe points.

Let us also tell all of you that Delhi Police has issued a traffic advisory to ensure the safe and smooth movement of vehicles in the capital ahead of Independence Day celebrations on 15th August and the full dress rehearsal ceremony on 13th August. According to the traffic advisory, the traffic around the Red Fort, from where PM Narendra Modi will address the nation on Independence Day, will be closed for normal traffic from 4 am to 10 am, and only authorized vehicles will be allowed to enter. On the other hand, police said that the traffic ban for full dress rehearsals and Independence Day celebrations will remain the same on August 13.
