Srinagar: PDP supremo and former CM Mehbooba Mufti have targeted the central government for giving voting rights to outsiders in the Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir. Speaking in the Pakistani language, Mehbooba has said that the central government is engaged in snatching everything from the people of Jammu and Kashmir. He said that earlier the Centre snatched 370 in an unconstitutional manner and started bringing voters through the thief's door. Addressing a press conference, Mehbooba said the BJP will scrap the Constitution after 2024.
Mehbooba Mufti said that the saffron flag will be hoisted by removing the tricolour from the country. These people want to make the country a BJP nation. They also have nothing to do with Hindu Rashtra. Hindus here do not know what kind of BJP nation these people will make. That is why the elected governments of the States are being toppled. During this, Mehbooba also urged the people of Jammu and Kashmir to unite. Mehbooba accused the Centre of misusing investigative agencies and said the ED was being misused. Nazi policy is applicable in the state.
Assembly elections are likely to be held in Jammu and Kashmir this year. Earlier, the Election Commission made a big announcement and said that outsiders can also include their names on the voter list. Jammu and Kashmir Chief Electoral Officer Hridesh Kumar said that non-Kashmiri people who are living in the state can vote by including their names in the voter list. They don't need a residence certificate for that.
