Srinagar: Mehbooba Mufti, president and former CM of the People's Democratic Party (PDP) of the Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir, has once again made a statement on Section 370. He said section370, Article 35(A) and domicile laws were not given by abroad. Before the country could give it to us, the Maharaja had brought it to protect the identity of the people of Jammu and Kashmir. When people decided to be part of India, they said that we have these laws which have to be maintained.

PDP Chief Mehbooba Mufti said "there is so much price rise in Jammu that the people here are craving for water, there is no electricity, unemployment is increasing daily. Modi used to say that rivers of milk would flow in Jammu while there are so many problems here. Delimitation is happening all over the country in 2026 so what's early here. Can a decision be taken in 20 minutes if PM Modi meets the party for 20 minutes?"

Mehbooba Mufti seems to be making constant statements after PM Narendra Modi's meeting with leaders on the delimitation process and electoral issue in the Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir. Earlier also, he had said that the people of Jammu and Kashmir are in a lot of trouble after 5th August, 2019. They are angry, upset and emotionally broken. They're feeling humiliated.
