Srinagar: Amidst the threat of Coronavirus, former Jammu and Kashmir CM and PDP President Mehbooba Mufti have appealed to restore the 4G network in Jammu and Kashmir. The Mufti has also said that the 2G network has not been fully restored in the state. Mehboob Mufti made several tweets one after the other on Friday.

In a tweet, Mufti wrote that 'Coronavirus has been declared an epidemic by the WHO, yet the Jammu and Kashmir administration has issued a cruel ban on 4G. 4G will help people to work from home and get important information. There is no violent resistance to the state after 2G is reinstated. 'Mufti said, 'It is also correct to state here that 2G has not been fully restored everywhere and its speed is very low in the areas where it is working.

Mufti wrote that "No one can believe the claim of the Jammu and Kashmir administration that all this is being done to deal with any perceived crisis. This is the same official machinery which was telling people not to bother and not face stock till the day before 370 was repealed".
