Srinagar: While there is a lot of confusion over the situation in Jammu and Kashmir, there is a strange uneasiness among politicians and the political world. Following the central government's advisory, Amarnath Yatris and tourists are leaving the valley and returning to their homes. Meanwhile, former Jammu and Kashmir CM and People's Democratic Party (PDP) chief Mehbooba Mufti has expressed concern over the current situation in Kashmir.

Mehbooba Mufti attacked the Modi government at the Centre and tweeted that "passengers, tourists and students have been asked to leave Kashmir, which creates a sense of panic and distress, but not an attempt to relieve Kashmiris." Attacking on Mehbooba Mufti, PM Modi said "Where has it gone, humanity, Kashmiriti and democracy?

A day earlier, the Jammu and Kashmir administration had issued an advisory directing Amarnath pilgrims and tourists to leave the valley at the earliest. The base camp of Amarnath Yatris in Jammu has also been asked to return the pilgrims. There is no option but to leave the base camp for the passengers and return home. The administration has been ordered to take a look at the threat of terror attack in the Valley.
