Srinagar: The Gupkar alliance has also agreed to attend a meeting convened by the Central government in the union territory of Jammu and Kashmir. However, former Jammu and Kashmir CM and PDP chief Mehbooba Mufti has once again invoked 'Pakistan Raag'. She said that if the Government of India can talk to the Taliban, why not Pakistan?

Mehbooba Mufti further said that PM Modi should hold talks with Pakistan so that a solution can be found on Kashmir and peace can be established in the region. She said this on a secret visit by Indian officials to hold talks with Taliban leaders in Doha recently. On June 24, PM Modi has convened an all-party meeting to discuss Jammu and Kashmir. It will also include a secret alliance. The decision was taken at a meeting held at Farooq Abdalla's residence in Srinagar. The Congress has also agreed to attend the meeting.

India is also keeping an eye on the changing situation in Afghanistan. According to reports, Indian officials secretly held talks with Taliban leaders in Doha. This was disclosed by Qatar's Special Envoy Mudadaabin Majit during a web conference. She had said that the Taliban could contribute a lot to Afghanistan's politics in the future.
