Srikanth was born on 23 March 1968 in Basapatana village, Gangavati taluk, Karnataka, India. He did his B.Com at CSI College of Commerce, University of Karnataka, Dharwad, Karnataka. He also received a diploma from a film institute in Hyderabad. Srikanth married Oha on 20 January 1997 and has two sons Roshan and Rohan and a daughter Medha. She currently lives in Jubilee Hills, Hyderabad.
