The fourth ODI match of the ongoing  five-match series between India and Srilanka was played yesterday at the R. Premdasa Stadium. In which India defeated Srilanka  by a huge margin of 168 runs.

India while batting first gave a target to their opponent of 376 runs. While chasing the target Srilanka could make only  207 runs at the loss of 10 wickets in 42.4 overs. The Srilankan team players could not stay at the field for long while batting except Angelo Mathews.

The Men in Blue bowlers  Jasprit Bumrah and Kuldeep Yadav clinched two wickets each. Though the Indian team lost  opener Shikhar Dhawan in the second over , Players Virat Kohli made 131 runs and Rohit Sharma made 104 runs.

The former Indian captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni played  his 300th ODI. The last and final match of the five match ODI series between the two teams will be played on Sunday in Colombo.
