Menacing floods in Gujarat, 29 deaths so far, heavy rain warnings

Due to the rains conditions like a flood in many areas of Gujarat have been created. Most flood-affected districts are Navsari, Valsad, Dang, Junagadh, Geyar Somnath, Amreli, Bhavnagar. The Meteorological Department has warned of heavy rains for the next five days. 29 people died due to heavy rain in the last few consecutive days. In this, 10 people died due to flood, while 19 people were killed by electric shock and electricity.

Due to rain , the state's 5 State Highways and 144 villages are completely closed. There are many such villages which have been broken. The administration has deployed one team of NDRF in Junagadh, Rajkot, Navsari, Vyara, Surat, Mahisagar, Palanpur, Ahmedabad Vadodara. According to the administration data, till now NDRF has taken 252 rescue jobs. While the government convened an emergency meeting under the chairmanship of CM in the wake of rains  

According to Chief Minister Vijay Rupani, the Air Force has been asked to be ready if needed. The Chief Minister himself recounted the situation of the flood from Gir Somnath and Una District Collector. To help the people stranded in the flood, the team of 15 NDRF, currently stationed 5 and the team will be added to help. The control room has also been opened to help with the flood.
