New Delhi: The effect of coronavirus which is causing worldwide furore is also being seen on mental condition. Ever since the disease has knocked in the country, there has been a steady increase in the number of psychiatrists. According to a recent survey by the Indian Psychiatry Society, psychiatrists are seeing an increase of up to 20 percent.

The reason behind this is being told that ever since the coronavirus has knocked in the world, there has been an unprecedented change in people's living. The epidemic has also hurt the global economy, whose impact is being seen on people's thinking. On giving information in the recent survey of the Indian Psychiatry Society, it has been told that the number of psychiatrists has seen an increase of 15-20 percent in just a few weeks.

Mental patients increased in Delhi after coronavirus and lockdown

The reason is that after spreading the coronavirus, negativity is rapidly building up in people's minds and people are forced to live under pressure. The situation became more serious when people were locked inside their homes due to the lockdown. Hence, there seems to be a crisis on business, jobs, earning, savings and even basic resources.
