Content Queen Ekta Kapoor says, "The script for Mentalhood was written about 3-and-a-half years ago. It was also being finalized around the same time that I was planning for a child. Today, I think I have given birth to two children, one born last year (my son) and one born today (show mentality). I am very proud of making "Mentalhood". Right from the first day of shooting, it has been so emotional and mental. I can say that this is a show that is very close to my heart and which makes me feel deeply connected. Whereas I am sure that the audience will also feel connected to the madness that this show wants to present."
