Germany's car manufacturer Mercedes-Benz has launched its new GLS Grand Edition in India. The company has launched this SUV in both diesel and petrol variants, and both cars have ex-showroom price of 86.90 lakhs of the Grand Edition diesel GLS 350D and Petrol GLS 400.

Mercedes has made several cosmic changes in the new Grand Edition, which includes the Intelligent LED Light System Grand Edition Badging. At the beginning of this year, the company had introduced the GLS Grand Edition for the first time at the Detroit Auto Show in 2018. The company has also disclosed that India has joined the top 6 countries in the GLS SUV market, as well as the full-sized luxury SUV in the Mercedes-Benz SUV portfolio will be the company's key product.

Talking about the features, Mercedes-Benz GLS Grand Edition meets the comfort and luxury of the S-Class. The car has a 7-inch high definition screen which is equipped with Apple Car Play and Android Auto Connectivity. The company has installed a 3.0-liter V6 diesel engine in the Grand Edition GLS 350D, which generates 254 bhp power and 620 Nm of peak torque. GLS 400 has a similar 3.0-liter V6 petrol engine with capacity of 329 bhp power and 480 Nm of peak torque. Both engines have been equipped with 9G-tronic automatic gearbox.
