Mercedes and Toyota to launch BSIV compliant till 2020

Mercedes-Benz India and Toyota Kirloskar Motor are planning to launch Bharat Stage IV compliant vehicles to India. The new vehicles will have high efficiency and improved emissions.

Mercedes-Benz India managing director Roland Folger said, "It is my target to bring in BS VI vehicles by 2018 into the Indian market. By bringing in the BS VI vehicles, one can make the cities of Delhi, Pune and other cities a cleaner place.” 

Toyota Kirloskar Motor vice chairman Vikram Kirloskar said, "They are the powertrain of tomorrow’s cars with cutting-edge technology on lowering emissions, maintaining high-performance levels and boosting fuel efficiency with low fuel consumption.”
