On October 7, Mercedes-Benz will unveil the domestic production S-Class luxury car in India. Due to local manufacturing, the German car giant's flagship product is expected to be significantly less expensive than previous versions.

Mercedes-Benz had previously released the S-Class in India at a price of Rs. 2.17 crore (ex-showroom). The CBU route was used to bring the Mercedes S-Class launch edition to India. Soon after the formal debut, all 150 units were sold out. The Mercedes S-Class ultra-luxury car competes with competitors such as the BMW 7-Series and Audi A8 in its class.

The Made-in-India Mercedes S-specs Class's are yet to be revealed. The firm is expected to announce them on October 7, although there aren't expected to be significant changes. What will change, though, is the price, which is anticipated to drop significantly as a result of local manufacturing.

The Mercedes S-Class 2021 is presently available in two variants: the S 400d and the 450 4MATIC. It runs on six-cylinder petrol and diesel engines. The engine has a power range of 330 to 367 horsepower. The maximum torque is between 500 and 700 Nm. Both come with a top speed of 250 kms per hour and the ability to accelerate from zero to 100 kmph in just over five seconds.

It has a dynamic AMG Line appearance and interior, as well as 20-inch alloy wheels, which are a first for the S-Class in India. Despite its impressive performance figures, the S-Class is more about the driving experience from the rear seat than from behind the wheel. The S-Class sedan will be equipped with a 12.8-inch primary infotainment system with an OLED display in 2021. It has a 12.3-inch 3D driver display and is oriented in portrait mode. A broad visual experience is provided by the dual-screen.

The MBUX comes with 320 GB of internal storage and 16 GB of RAM. This implies that the car's owner may save numerous movies in the car's infotainment system and view them on the move.MBUX also gets Over-The-Air or OTA software update facility as well.
