Report submitted by CnEVPost revealed that around 68 owners of the Mercedes-Benz EQC electric crossover have grouped together to demand that Mercedes-Benz respond to a statement published by the latter on the EV's "faulty electric motor."

Many concerned owners noticed a car reminder instructing them to replace coolant a few months before the EQC motor failed. There was also a significant drop in the amount of coolant.

It also showed that after at least one motor failure, owners were instructed to replace their EQC's motor. These owners want the luxury automaker to come honest about the problem and admit that it exists in the EV in issue. They also urged that the matter be brought to light and that an official recall be issued.
